Essentials of Management & Leadership in Plastics is a six-month virtual program. Cohort #3 will start in Fall 2023 and run through Spring 2024. The program is open to early to mid-level career professionals (with varying titles and roles within specific organizations) who are looking to become leaders or strengthen their leadership skills at their companies and in the plastics industry. No other Leadership Certificate program exists that is specifically designed for those in the plastics industry.

Included for paid members, the program matches mentors and mentees according to their personal preferences, and assists members with the challenge of advancing one's professional and personal goals. Those who have experienced that journey are ready to benefit those starting the journey.

SPE's Mentor Program provides a platform for knowledge transfer between generations from established industry professionals to those who are just beginning in plastics. Members can also choose to be mentor and mentee at the same time.
